Peer-to-peer charging

Charge your EV where you are actually going

The cabin, the neighbour, the town centre. Laddy connects you to private chargers you would never have found – and you pay only for the power you use.

No subscription

We reserve a deposit when you start and charge only for actual use. The rest is released automatically.

Chargers where there are none

Private home chargers sit idle most of the day. Laddy makes them available – including where no network has built out.

Start from your phone

Scan the QR code at the charger or find it on the map. No RFID tag, no app jungle, no waiting.

How charging works

  1. 1

    Find the charger

See available chargers on the map, search by code, or scan the QR code at the charger.

  2. 2

    Start in the app

Plug in your car and press start. We reserve the deposit and switch the charger on.

  3. 3

    Pay for what you used

Stop when you are done. We read the meter and charge only for the kWh you actually took.

Got a home charger? Put it to work.

Your charger sits unused most of the day. With Laddy you set your own price, decide when it is available, and get paid for the power other people use.

Become a host
  • You set the price per kWh yourself
  • Switch hosting off whenever you need the charger
  • We never need your Zaptec password

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost?

The host sets the price per kWh, and it is shown before you start. You pay only for what you actually charge – no start fee, no subscription.

Why is a deposit reserved?

We need to know the payment will clear before the charger switches on. The amount is reserved, not taken. When you stop, we charge only actual use and release the rest.

Which chargers are supported?

Laddy supports Zaptec chargers today. The host connects the charger without sharing their password, and we confirm ownership before it goes live.

Do I need my own cable?

It depends on the charger. The connector type is shown on the charger page in the app, so you know before you drive.
